Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 12, 2026

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how FUTURE (“FUTURE,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the FUTURE platform at thefutureos.io and related applications, APIs, and services (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to this Policy and our Terms of Service.

2. Information We Collect

  • Account information — name, email address, password (stored as a salted cryptographic hash, never in plain text), and company details you provide.
  • Content you submit — prompts, descriptions, brand kits, uploaded files (images, audio, video, documents), and the projects you create.
  • Generated content — the websites, apps, images, videos, music, and documents the Service creates for you.
  • App end-user data — if you build a full-stack app on the FUTURE Backend, the accounts and records your app’s users create are stored by us on your behalf (see Section 5).
  • Usage & device data — feature usage, API call volumes, approximate location from IP, browser type, and diagnostic logs.
  • Payment information — handled by our payment processors (e.g., Stripe, PayPal, Strike). We never store full card numbers.

3. How We Use Information

  • To provide and operate the Service — including sending your prompts and content to AI model providers to generate the results you request.
  • To host and serve the sites and apps you publish, and to store your projects in your portal.
  • To process payments, manage subscriptions, and enforce plan limits.
  • To secure the Service, prevent abuse, debug problems, and improve features.
  • To communicate with you about your account, security, and product updates.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. AI Processing

Generation features are powered by third-party AI providers (for example: Anthropic, OpenAI, Google-model services, video and audio rendering providers). When you use these features, the relevant content (your prompt, brand kit, reference files) is transmitted to the provider needed to produce your result, and is handled under that provider’s terms. We do not use your content to train our own foundation models. Optional personalization (such as style preferences you save) stays in your browser or your portal.

5. Apps Built on the FUTURE Backend

When you build and publish a full-stack app, your app’s end users can create accounts and store data on the FUTURE Backend. For that data, the app owner is the controller and FUTURE is a processor: we store and serve it solely to operate the app. App owners are responsible for their own privacy disclosures to their users and for collecting only data they lawfully may collect. End-user passwords are stored as salted cryptographic hashes. If you are the end user of an app built on FUTURE and have questions about that app’s data practices, contact the app’s operator first; you may also contact us to request removal of your account data.

6. When We Share Information

  • Service providers — AI model providers, cloud hosting, storage, rendering, email, and payment processors, only as needed to provide the Service.
  • Legal — when required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of FUTURE, our users, or the public.
  • Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice to you.

7. Storage, Security & Retention

Data is stored with reputable cloud providers. Passwords are salted and hashed; access tokens are signed and expire automatically; transport is encrypted (HTTPS). No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information with industry-standard measures. We retain your data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward, after which it may be deleted. You can export your projects at any time from the Service.

8. Cookies & Local Storage

The Service uses browser local storage and similar technologies to keep you signed in, save your work in demo mode, remember preferences (theme, brand kit, style memory), and operate background tasks. We do not run third-party advertising trackers on the platform.

9. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Your Choices & Rights

You may access, correct, export, or delete your account information by contacting us or using in-product tools. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights (such as access, deletion, correction, and portability) under laws like the CCPA/CPRA or GDPR; we honor verified requests as those laws require. To exercise any right, email legal@thefutureos.io.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy as the Service evolves. If a change is material we will give notice (for example, by email or in-product). The “Last updated” date above reflects the current version.
